Our Community Project

Delivering gigabit broadband to everybody in our community

Gigabit Vouchers

What are Gigabit Vouchers and how to apply for a voucher

The aim of our project is to provide fast, reliable broadband for everybody that wants it in our community by building our own full-fibre gigabit network with the help of B4RN.

As a member of our community, you can play your part by applying for a Gigabit Voucher. Your voucher application will raise up to £1500 (or up to £3500 if you apply as a business) towards the cost of building our network. The government wants to give us the funds to help us to build our network, all you have to do is apply

Applying for a voucher is not a commitment to being connected to our network. By applying for a voucher, you are giving yourself the opportunity to be connected to our network if you choose to do so.

You can apply for your Gigabit Voucher at https://b4rn.org.uk/postcode-checker/

Step 1: Enter your postcode
Step 2: Scroll down to find the form and enter your name and address details
Step 3: Complete the section ‘Requested service details’ by selecting the connection type and (if you currently have a broadband contract) select ‘Delayed Commitment (Currently in contract)’ and enter the date at which your current contract ends.
Step 4: You need to enter your current broadband download speed. If you do not know your current speed, there is a link to a
speed test webpage, or you can use any other speed test available on the internet.
Step 5: Complete your application by clicking the ‘Submit Voucher Request’ button at the bottom of the form.
